I was contracted by the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) as a web designer to create a dedicated website for their new Loa loa virus study.
The goal was to design a clear, informative, and accessible platform to communicate the study’s purpose and progress to stakeholders, including international research partners and governmental bodies. I collaborated closely with a developer to ensure the website met strict accessibility requirements in line with governmental standards. Additionally, the CMS was built to be fully editable by the internal BNITM team, allowing for ongoing updates without external support. The result is a responsive, multilingual website that makes complex scientific research approachable and transparent.
